Pool - Boone’s Trace

The Boone’s Trace Neighborhood features a beautiful pool, kiddie pool, and a leisure area to enjoy sunny days outside soaking up the sun! Enjoy lounging poolside and cooling off in the water in privacy. Our pool is open daily from 10am-9pm.  Our pool can also be reserved for after-hours parties for our residents.

Pool Rules

  1. The pool will be managed by Boone’s Trace National Golf Course, BTNGC. BTNGC reserves the right to deny use of pool to anyone at any time.
  2. BTNGC operational dates and times: The pool is open daily, weather permitting, from the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend (May 26) through Labor Day (Monday, September 3, or later weather depending). Operational hours are 10 am – 9 pm seven days a week.
  3. Pool users and their guests must swim at their own risk. No lifeguard on duty. Boone’s Trace Property Owners Association (BTPOA) does not assume any liability or responsibility for injuries, property loss, and/or damage of any nature or kind arising out of the use of the pool by any persons.
  4. All residents IN GOOD STANDING and their guests may use the pool facilities. Limit of four (4) guests per household at the pool facility. All residents and guests must follow the established check-in procedure with attendant on duty at the pool. All guests must be accompanied by a member of the property owner’s family.
  5. Persons shall not enter the pool with sores, open abrasions, or other physical conditions that might contaminate the pool or jeopardize another person’s health. Pools are periodically inspected by the Madison County Health Department for violations of posted rules. The Health Department may close the pools for any violations.
  6. Dogs or pets of any kind will not be permitted within the pool grounds or restrooms.
  7. No glass containers, tobacco products, or chewing gum of any kind are permitted in the pool area. Food should be taken to the picnic pavilion.
  8. Dress code: Only swim suits/swim trunks may be worn in the pool. No denim shorts in the pool.  Babies must wear swim diapers if not potty trained. No disposable diapers.
  9. Running, rough play, or dangerous behavior will not be permitted within the pool grounds or restrooms. Undue loud music or activities that interfere with the enjoyment of others using the pool, or that disturb adjacent property owners, will not be permitted.
  10. Diving is not permitted.
  11. Children under age 16 will be allowed in the pool area only if they are accompanied by a parent or authorized guardian who accepts full responsibility for their safety and actions. The parent or authorized guardian must be a responsible person 17 years of age or older.  {Age 17 is the minimum age allowed by 902 KAR 10:120 Section 13}
  12. BTPOA is not responsible for items left in the pool area.
  13. According to state law, the pool will close in the event of thunder and/or lightning, for a period of 30 minutes past the last sighting of lightning or the last instance of thunder. Patrons
    are required to leave the pool area.
  14. Use of floatation devices are prohibited.

Pool and Picnic Facility Reservation

  1. For after-hours special events or parties, the pool may be rented for up to 3 hours or until 11 pm, whichever comes first, for the BTPOA rental cost plus any PPM and attendant fees.
  2. The reservation form and payment must be submitted one week prior to the event to insure scheduling of pool attendant(s).
  3. The picnic pavilion is not subject to reservation and may be used on a first-come, first-serve basis.
