We’ll meet in the Meeting Room at the Bull, above the golf clubhouse. Take the stairs on the north side of the building. All property owners are invited to the meeting. We will select officers for the coming year, discuss and vote on by-laws, and review past and upcoming activities. The Social Club was formed to plan activities that will enable us to build community. Come meet some of your neighbors and see how you can make a contribution. We are having discussions with the Telford YMCA in Richmond about offering some programs in 2003 onsite at our Recreation Complex. Several residents have expressed an interest in classes such as swimming, tennis, CPR/First Aid, and yoga. If you have an interest in any of these, or would like to suggest other classes that could be offered onsite, call George Huxel at 624-2569. The annual meeting of the Boone’s Trace Property Owners Association was held in November. See the Developers’ Corner of this issue for more information about the meeting. Text Box: The third annual New Year’s Eve party will be held at The Bull on Tuesday, December 31, from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am. The event, which is being coordinated by the Boone’s Trace Social Club, is open to adult property owners and their guests. Food will be provided, and attendees should bring their own drinks. Dress is “smart casual,” and R&R Entertainment will be the DJ for the evening. Tickets for the party are $10 per person, and they may be obtained from Liane Hinch at 626-5955 or Brenda Clark Phillips at 626-3020. We need a head count for the caterer, so please RSVP by Friday, Dec. 20. Seating is limited and reservations will be cut off when the capacity is reached, so call early! Text Box: As a fund raiser for the Social Club, we will again have a silent auction at the New Year’s Eve party. Social Club members are obtaining donated items from individuals and businesses. If you or your company have something to contribute, or wish to help with the auction, call Liane at 626-5955 or Brenda at 626-3020. Items already donated include two boxes for six people each at the Churchhill Downs Spring Meet (except Derby Week), golf for four at The Bull, a salon package, a Waterford bowl, a floral arrangement, a Cajun fried turkey, a UK Wildcat print, a night out at the Hilton Hotel in Lexington Green and a day of house cleaning. More items are being added each day. Join the fun!
