Holiday Open House
Sunday, December 19, 3-5 pm

Text Box: Gail Arrambide and Betty Huxel, along with Gail’s daughters Nicole and Veronica, are hosting an Open House on Sunday, December 19, from 3-5 pm, for women in Boone’s Trace to get to know each other. You’re invited to bring your daughters (all ages!) and/or your mothers. We’ll serve the wassail, and we ask you to bring the cookies (or candy, brownies, etc.). The event will be at the Arrambide’s home at 111 Gleneagles.

Each family is asked to bring 4 dozen cookies. One dozen is for the refreshment table, and the other 3 dozen should be packaged in bundles of 4 per package. Just wrap them in plastic wrap and tie with a ribbon. You’ll bring 9 packages and take home 9 other packages of your choosing!

Gail and Betty would like to get a head count for preparing the wassail. Please call either of them before noon on Saturday December 18 with an RSVP. Leave a message with your name and how many in your party; Gail at 624-7134 or Betty at 624-2569. Hope you ladies can join us!
Text Box: As most of you know, the annual meeting of the Boone’s Trace Property Owners Association was held at The Bull Clubhouse on Tuesday evening, November 19.

A substantial amount of new business was discussed at this meeting, including election of the Board of Directors for 2005. A number of amendments to the Covenants were presented and voted on favorably. A revised version of the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (fourth revision) is being prepared and will be available upon completion and recording by the attorney. Information will be available on your website, boonestrace.org, and copies may be picked up at the Sales Office after the first of the new year.

A major change to the association business for 2005 will be the introduction of a property manager. Ed Maggard and Associates was selected from four respondents. Mr. Maggard was introduced at the annual meeting. The management company will be handling all of the association’s
billing and accounting issues, along with other administrative duties, commencing January 1, 2005. They have been selected for a one year contract with renewal options.

Text Box: Neighborhood Trick-or-Treat

On Saturday evening, kids and parents in Boone’s Trace met at the pool for a hayride and trick-or-treat event. The activity was organized by moms Teri Gadd and Sheri Moore. George Huxel provided the trailer and hay for the hayride, and Jim McAnally drove the tractor that pulled the kids around the neighborhood.

From 6:00 to 8:30 pm, a great time was had by all … those who gave treats as well as those who received. Residents had been requested to go to the end of their driveways to disburse the treats, and this system worked very well. Thanks especially to Jim & George, Teri & Sheri, and all the parents who assisted. And to the residents who so willing participated. It was a great evening for all! Let’s do it again next year.
