Text Box: The Boone’s Trace Civic Association held its second quarterly meeting of 2004 on April 28 at The Bull Clubhouse.
Officers reports were given by chairman Eric Stamper, secretary Karen Bates and treasurer Jeff Metze. Tonya McKune reported on the Easter Egg hunt, an annual activity for Boone’s Trace children that she chaired this year. There was a great turnout for the function at the Recreation Complex. BTCA expressed thanks to Boone’s Trace LLC for providing funds for the Easter Egg Hunt.

Doug Wedding gave an update on the website www.boonestrace.org that he will maintain through his company. He is selling ads to cover the cost of maintaining the site, so there will be no cost to Boone's Trace. The website is now up and running, with past newsletters, recreation complex rules, and community calendar online. In the next phase, he will post the homeowners regulations and property guidelines. Boone’s Trace LLC is funding a sign to be posted at the Guard House with the weblink to our site. Doug reports that fully functional partnerships have been formed with Travelocity.com, Amazon.com, Google.com, Qixo.com and Epage.com. Boone’s Trace residents can purchase items through www.boonestrace.org at the same price as they would normally through these partners but each time a purchase is made the partner donates part of the proceeds towards keeping the website up year 'round -24/7. These partners were sought out due to their low overhead so almost all of the prices are lower then a 'bricks and mortar' venue. No additional commission is charged to Boones Trace residents. Doug says to stop by www.boonestrace.org and see if we can't beat your best price on such purchases as Airfare, Hotels, Car Rentals, Books, CDs/DVDs, Electronics, Cruises, Golf Packages, Kitchen & Housewares, Tools & Hardware, Camera & Photo, Toys & Games, Classified ads, Travel Insurance, Last Minute Travel Deals, E-Cards, Apple & PC Computers, Computer Consulting, and Swim Lessons. Doug says that advertising is now available on the website for any realtors, banks, finance companies, B&B's, home repair services, lawn & garden services, etc. Contact him through the website link if you wish to place an ad.

Roy Hines reported on the Restrictions Committee that was formed at the request of the Boone’s Trace LLC. The committee will assist BTLLC in contacting residents who are in violation of the Boone’s Trace Covenants & Restrictions (C&R). For a copy of the C&R or the building guidelines, call the developers’ office at 626-9680. These are also posted on the website. This committee is under the authority of and reports to Boone’s Trace Property Owners Association, not BTCA.

Summer activities were discussed. It was decided there will be a Community Trash Pickup and a Fourth of July party. The next meeting of the BTCA will be held on Monday, July 26, at 7 pm in The Bull Clubhouse Meeting Room.

Text Box: Boone’s Trace Community Trash Pickup will be held on Saturday, June 12th at 8:00 am. Please help make our neighborhood a cleaner place. Bring some trash bags and gloves. No telling what treasures you may find! Meet at the pool parking lot, then we will divide into groups to cover the subdivision. With enough volunteers, we will be able to cover the entire neighborhood. If you have any questions, call Eric Stamper at 624-8166.
