fellow users.
Boone's Trace
Recreation Complex - Regulations
adopted September 2002
- The Boone's Trace Recreation Complex,
consisting of the picnic pavilion, tennis courts, swimming pool,
restrooms, and adjacent grounds, is private property. The Recreation
Complex is maintained for the exclusive use of Boone's Trace
property owners, their families, and invited guests.
- The Recreation Complex may not be
reserved exclusively for private parties. A resident, or an
informally organized group of residents, may hold a social function
with reasonable attendance.
- Activities at the Recreation Complex
will not extend beyond 10:00 pm.
- Invited guests must be accompanied by
a property owner or by an adult member (age 18 or over) of the
property owner's family when using any of the facilities of the
Recreation Complex.
- All users are requested to be
considerate of neighbors and guests who are using the Recreation
Complex.
- Undue loud music or activities that
interfere with the enjoyment of others using the Recreation Complex,
or that disturb adjacent property owners, will not be permitted.
Swimming
Pool - updated August 2004 by
Pool Committee
- Pool is open from daily from 8am until
9pm. The pool is reserved for Adults Only on Tuesday and Thursday
evenings from 7-9 pm and Sunday morning from 8 am until noon. All
guest must be accompanied by a property owner.
- Pool users and their guests must swim
at their own risk. No lifeguard on duty. Neither Boone's Trace Civic
Association or Boone's Trace property owners at large assumes any
liability or responsibility for injuries, property loss, and/or
damage of any nature or kind arising out of the use of the pools by
any persons.
- Persons shall not enter the pool with
sores, open abrasions, or other physical conditions that might
contaminate the pool or jeopardize another person's health. Pools
are periodically inspected by the Madison County Health Department
for violations of posted rules. The Health Department may close the
pools for any violations.
- Dogs or pets of any kind will not be
permitted within the pool grounds or restrooms.
- No glass containers or chewing gum of
any kind are permitted in the pool area. Food should be taken to the
picnic pavilion.
- All residents IN GOOD STANDING and
their guests are allowed to use the pool facilities. Limit of four
(4) guests per household at the pool facility. All residents and
guest must sign a register maintained at the pool.
- Dress code: Only swim suits/swim
trunks may be worn in the pool. No denim shorts in the pool. Babies
must wear cloth diapers and tight elastic pants or Swimmies. No
disposable diapers.
- Running or rough play will not be
permitted within the pool grounds or restrooms. Undue loud music or
activities that interfere with the enjoyment of others using the
pool, or that disturb adjacent property owners, will not be
permitted.
- Diving is not permitted.
- Children of age 16 and under will be
allowed in the pool area only if they are accompanied by a parent,
guardian, or a person 18 years of age or older who accepts
responsibility for their safety.
- Neither Boone's Trace Civic
Association or Boone's Trace property owners is not responsible for
articles left in the swimming pool area.
- For safety reasons, all users shall
leave the pool area when thunderstorms or lightning are sighted.
Tennis
Courts - Regulations adopted September 2002
- All persons must wear tennis shoes.
Regular street shoes are not permitted within the courts.
- Only tennis is allowed within the
court area. No activities such as bicycling, roller blading,
skateboarding, children's toys, soccer, or other games of any kind
shall be permitted.
- If others are waiting to use the
courts, play shall be limited to one hour at a time.
- Profanity and or un-sportsman like
conduct will not be tolerated.
- Players shall leave the courts in
clean condition and close the gate when play is finished. Leave the
court area as you would like to find it.
- No glass objects or food will be
allowed within the fenced area of the courts.
- Dogs or pets of any kind will not be
permitted within the fenced area of the courts.
- Lights must be turned off when play is
completed. No play after 10:00 p.m.
